素晴らしいニュースがはいってきました。オーストリアのキッツビュールにて１１月２２日（現地時間）、ワールド・スキー・アワード２０１４の各優秀賞の発表が行われました。

ニセコは国内4部門全てのカテゴリーで日本一に、ザ・ヴェール・ニセコは、スキー・ブティックホテルの部門で世界一に選ばれました。また、アジアのスキー産業に大きく貢献した個人に贈られる特別賞に、新谷暁生氏（ニセコ雪崩調査研究所）が選ばれました。

今年の冬も大賑わいになりそうな予感です。

On the 22nd November 2014 (19:00 Local Austrian time) The World Ski Award Ceremony was held at the A-ROSA Hotel in Kitzbuhel, Austria. A large contigency of people from the Niseko hospitality, Ski industry were present at the award ceremony, where Niseko took away the awards for the best in each category for Japan and The Vale Niseko also recieved the award for the "Best Ski Boutique Hotel in the World". The evenings awards were topped off with a special award to local legend Mr Akio Shinya chief of the Niseko Avalanche Research Institute in Niseko, for his mamoth efforts in the ski industry of Niseko over many years and for his contribution to mountain sports in general.
