Let's think about a tourist tax together

The Hokkaido Prefectural Government are planning to introduce a tourist tax to finance tourism promotion amid record-breaking arrivals of travelers from abroad. The Tokyo Metropolitan Government became the first to introduce such a tax in October 2002 and the Osaka Prefectural Government followed suit last January. The Kutchan Town is now considering the introduction of a tourist tax to help make the global resort of Niseko (half of which sits in Kutchan Town) even more attractive. We would like to hold a symposium relating to the tourist tax. We hope that you can attend the symposium.
